Re: GPO deploy agent

Same on my side. Without the ability to install through GPO, fusioninventory will be die.
I tested with command-line Parameter, but this ends with user privileges.

The best way will be a msi package.

Re: GPO deploy agent

Run the VBS on start script in GPO 'Computer' and it will work

Re: GPO deploy agent

You can use the VBS script available here :
     https://raw.github.com/fusinv/fusioninv … oyment.vbs
This link appears in the "Large installation" topic in :
     http://fusioninventory.org/documentatio … n/windows/

What I do is :

  • Download and modify this VBS script (SetupLocation = "\\My-Server\Netlogon\Fusioninventory", SetupVersion and setupOptions)

  • Download the x86 and x64 installers for Windows

  • Put the three files in C:\Windows\sysvol\sysvol\[domain-name]\scripts\Fusioninventory subfolder on my domain controller

  • Create a computer GPO to launch the VBS when computer start

  • And voilà, it simply works smile

I'm doing that, but it asks me for user interaction to be able to install the agent. How can I do this without having to down the UAC?
