Topic: Is there an alternate way to create the Agent Service on Windows?

Hello,

I have some problem on some servers to deploy FusionInventory Agent like a service. In my company many servers have the Oracle client install and it seem to conflict with the perl deployment script because of use PERL5LIB.

I have exactly the same message as here : http://forum.fusioninventory.org/viewtopic.php?id=143
Badly there is no real solution on this post and i don't find something usefull on the Web.

Agent version used : 2.3.20 on Windows 2008 R2

Have you a solution for me ? or another way to deploy it ? if not i will deploy it with scheduled task but i dont like this sad

Thanks for your help.

Re: Is there an alternate way to create the Agent Service on Windows?

Ok,
Thanks for your reply, not resolve my problem but i have found a solution.

For information, I change the command who lunch the service in registry by : "C:\Program Files\FusionInventory-Agent\perl\bin\perl.exe" -I"C:\Program Files\FusionInventory-Agent\perl\agent" -I"C:\Program Files\FusionInventory-Agent\perl\lib" -I"C:\Program Files\FusionInventory-Agent\perl\site\lib" -I"C:\Program Files\FusionInventory-Agent\perl\vendor\lib" "C:\Program Files\FusionInventory-Agent\perl\bin\fusioninventory-win32-service"

Like that the program dont call PER5LIB.
