Topic: Ignored import device

I have installed GLPI 9.2 , FI 9.2+1.0, nmap On windows 7

I created a task for discovery network: PCs with agent are inventory, other not because the Rule "Global import denied" block!

My problem are printers and switches!!! Why FI doesn't inventory?

In "discovery task" I add two Job:
Job 1 -> LAN discovery -> with module metod  "network discovery"
Job 2 -> SNMP discovery -> with module metod "network inventory SNMP" (I associated in IP range SNMP credentials)

Then I force discovery task, I force inventory from Fusion inventory status but all device discovery are not imported. Why??????????????????????????????????????????????

Re: Ignored import device

Inventory starts when discovery ends. I have two different tasks: Discovery with one job "network discovery" and second one: Inventory with one job: "network inventory".

My task Network Discovery has Agent wakeup interval (in minutes) : 60.
My task Network Discovery has no Agent wakeup interval.

Both tasks have Schedule start and Schedule end set to first and last day in year (previous i had some errors).

Try this out.

Re: Ignored import device

Do you mean My task "Inventory Discovery" has no Agent wakeup interval?

Re: Ignored import device

In my configuration I have no Agent wakeup interval. And it works.

Re: Ignored import device

ok, then I changed the discovery task and set it up
- Agent wakeup interval (in minutes): 60
- Number of agents to wake up: none
Did you mean this?

I don't solve my problem ...

I have also insert nmap path into environment variables of PC and FI invented 3 devices:
2 printers and one server without preinstalled agent.

I do not understand why they only imported 3 devices! I see my log and nmap can't start!

This is my log of FI

Set some agents to wake up. I have 10.

Re: Ignored import device

No way...
Does your nmap log start properly?

Re: Ignored import device

Well checked my FI log and I have the same info:

[Thu Nov  2 08:41:58 2017][info] FusionInventory Agent memory usage: 2961408
[Thu Nov  2 08:58:14 2017][info] sending prolog request to server server0

[Thu Nov  2 08:58:17 2017][info] Can't run nmap, nmap detection can't be used

But it works good - on my GLPI server i have all data:

Re: Ignored import device

I do It on 31/10/2017: after my scan FI find only 3 device.....

The path insertes in regedit is "C:\Program Files\nmap"

Re: Ignored import device

I didn't make any changes in registry.
I just added in env variables path to nmap .exe file.

Like this:

Re: Ignored import device

I see "Ignored import devices" and there are some devices with rule name "NetworkEquipment constraint (name)" and "    Printer constraint (name)"....

I disable that rule and task inventored 11 devices ( 4 switches and 7 printers)

I've disabled the rules, and the task imported unnamed machines (4 switches and 7 printers) .
In fact it doens't detect location and manufacturer.
Could it be that fusion inventory doesn't recognize netgear, Olivetti and sharp devices?
