Topic: Remontée Service Tag Dell sur client léger Win XP/7

Bonjour,

Nous sommes en train de mettre en place le plugin FusionInventory sur notre GLPI, et le déploiement des agents sur tous les postes est en cours sans réelle difficulté.

Le seul problème est que certaines informations de nos clients légers ne remontent pas dans l'inventaire, c'est le cas notamment pour le Service Tag (Dell OptiPlex FX160 sous Windows XP et FX170 sous Windows 7 Embedded).

Le constructeur et le modèle remontent bien, mais nous souhaiterions avoir le numéro de série de chaque machine dans notre inventaire.

Est-ce que quelqu'un a déjà rencontré ce problème ? Une idée de ce qui pourrait bloquer ?
Nous savons que cela est possible car nos stations Wyse (D90D7) remontent bien cette info.

peux-tu préciser les versions de GLPI & Plugin FusionInventory pour GLPI que tu utilises ? Ainsi que les versions des agents ?

Ensuite, peux-tu jeter un oeil dans les informations d'import des machines concernées ? Tu devrais pouvoir y télécharger le fichier XML et regarder si tu trouves l'information désirée quelque part. Si tu vois l'information, peux-tu nous montrer la partie concernée ?

Sinon, peux-tu nous joindre l'output de la commande dmidecode.exe que tu trouveras dans le sous dossier perl\bin du répéertoire d'installation de l'agent ?

La version de GLPI utilisée est 9.2.1, le plugin FusionInventory 9.2+1.0 et nous avons testé plusieurs versions de l'agent mais utilisons actuellement la 2.4rc2.
Pour ce qui est de l'information, je la trouve bien, mais n'est pas prise en compte dans l'inventaire de la machine.
Sur GLPI dans Parc -> Ordinateur : le numéro de série de ces machines reste vide, alors qu'il est bien présent sur le xml, ainsi que dans le résultat du dmidecode.exe

Tu indiquais que tu voyais bien le numéro de série des ces machines dans le XML. Peux-tu me dire dans quel champ tu le trouvais ?

Pardon j'avais parcouru le xml rapidement, en fait il n'y est pas...
J'en profite pour rajouter que pour les cas des FX160 (sous Windows XP), le Chassis Information est complètement renseigné dans le dmidecode, mais qu'il n'y a rien dans le xml.

si tu peux lancer dmidecode manuellement mais que la section <BIOS/> reste vide, c'est que l'agent ne doit pas arriver à exécuter la commande. As-tu dans ce cas des messages d'erreur dans le journal d'exécution de l'agent indiquant qu'il ne trouve pas la commande ?

Essaies de lancer l'agent avec debug à 2 et regarde ce que donne le journal.

On a actuellement une issue sur github qui ressemble à ton problème: [2.3.21] - Can't run command dmidecode: No such file or directory
Ca peut peut-être t'aider à trouver l'origine du problème.

au cas où tu l'aies raté, j'ai annoncé la release de l'agent FusionInventory 2.4.

Tu devrais tester cette nouvelle version et déjà nous confirmer que ton problème initial est bien corrigé dans cette version.

Effectivement je viens de tester avec l'agent 2.4, et pour les FX170 sous Windows 7 Embedded toutes les info remontent bien dans l'inventaire GLPI.
Pour les FX160 sous Windows XP Embedded par contre toujours le même problème.

Non aucune idée d'une ancienne version, nous avons testé depuis les version 2.3.18.
Précédemment nous utilisions OCS Inventory v2.1.rc1 pour l'inventaire du parc et tout fonctionnait, si cela peut aider.
