Topic: Fusion inventory 2.4 RC1 Entity issue

When the Fusion inventory agent is installed and registers back to GLPI it resides in the root entity, this is the behavior that I would expect, however there is no way to move the server to the correct entity once it is registered.  This prevents me from using the agent to do the snmp, network and esx scans.   Can we get the ability to move the agents in this version? I can directly edit the table and fix the problem, but a interface would be much nicer.

You have entity rules in menu plugins > FusionInventory
So you can see here to created rules to put computers to right entity

Re: Fusion inventory 2.4 RC1 Entity issue

That is not the issue.  The issue is that when agents come in they by default are assigned to the root entity.  I can't link the GLPI server record to the agent because it is in a sub entity.  In 2.3.x you were able to select the agent and move it to the correct entity.   I can do that manually by directly editing the table in my sql and changing the value from 0 (root) to 9 (my entity), it would be nice to get that ability back in the interface.

Re: Fusion inventory 2.4 RC1 Entity issue

Im using GLPI0.80.2  / FI 2.40.

Any chance of fixing the "root entity" issue?

Can also include the "Update - Entity" transfer feature.
