Synology DS411 and GLPI+fusioninventory [SOLVED]
#1
Hi all.

I have Synology DS411 stantion, and installed GLPI+ fusioninventory plugin.

For Windows based computer (Win 7, W2K2, W2K8 and etc.), all work very well.

Somebody explain to me please, how i can discover any SNMP device in my network.

What i do:

1. Push Discovery Network
2. Enter New Network ( Name: Network, IP range 172.16.0.1-172.16.0.30)
3. On next page click on created (wizard - netdiscovery - Network)
4. On the page (Job - ID 9) change (Module Definition: Network Inventory, IPRanges : Network) and click Add
5. Click next button

And every time i have error: No agent found for this task

That I do not correctly ?

In each agent form (into GLPI), you must specify if allowed to do network discovery

So you have communication problem between agent and server, verify server url configured on your agent

No no, if i install the agent, for example on Windows 2008 Server, then i see this server in Agent Mangement, i don't understend, how i can discower snmp device.
In my case, i have network 172.16.0.0/24, GPLI (IP:172.16.0.35), CISCO router (172.16.0.1). And i need to discover many device on SNMP protocol(Routers, switches, etc)

Tell me please, may be need will install something else. Because now installed GLPI+fusioninventory plugins.

You do the right things but you have forgotten to activeta network discovery on this agent in 'in Agent Mangement' (see tab 'modules')

After i go to the menu Plugins -> FusionInventory

2. Select IP Range: 172.16.0.1 - 172.16.0.35(It is the range I created before)
3. On next page (Force Start) i click on created wizard - netdiscovery - Network

And look at screenshot

And in Home > Plugins > FusionInventory > Agents management > 'your agent'

For experiment now i install GPLI+fusioninventory on FreeBSD(from ports, but in port tree old version), and same result. I make the same mistake on both servers.
And I don't understand in what this error
