Networkdiscovery found some Printers, but it is impossible to inventory them.
FI even tell me that "No devices to inventory"
Same on UPS
Did I missed something?
THX for help,
Best,
Meg
Use plugin version 0.84+2.2 and agent > version 2.3.4 and it will be better
See on site web and download part and you will find you want
Tested 0.84+2.2 with Agent 2.3.7.1 ... now its "No suitable devices to inventory"
You have devices in menu assets > networks and/or assets > printers ?
Must be yes, and with it, must have an IP and a SNMP authentication
I've found the bug. It has nothing to do with the Version. FusionInventory seems not autoassign the right mib to the device. After pressing the button "load right model" both Version inventarizised the devices fine.
With last version of plugin and Agent, you can inventory without model
I know you say that with the latest FI inv and agent, this should work, but I am am seeing the same problem.

update:
The problem is thers if automatic agent selection is enabled and model is set blank.
If the agent is explicitly specified, the function works properly.
I see similar problems with SNMP switch inventory - it won't work if automatic agent selection (same subnet) is enabled
- sometimes fails if automatic agent selection is enabled
- always works if agents are explicitly selected.
Hi, all,
In some printers, the network inventory agent brings information about MAC (appears at import information tab) but it doesn't appear at network ports tab. Why doesn't it appear?
Thanks in advances,
Alexandre
