Fusioninventory2.3.0/GLPI 0.78.3 /Agent 2.1.7/ Ubuntu 8.04

I think the problem com from upgrade of plugins. Have you a saved DB (before upgrade plugins FusionInventory) ?

Greetings DD. Originally I upgraded GLPI and the plugins but when I had problems I created a new DB but that did not solve the problem.
Then I rolled back the GLPI version and plugins but they still do not work.
The plugin keeps resetting itself
0.83+1.0 GLPI 0.83.2.
The only change is the agent.

It looks like I needed to reinstall perl modules after I upgraded the agent; I will let you know.
Thanks

Working ok at the moment;
GLPI 0.83.31 fusioninventory 0.83+1.0 Agent 2.2.3 (I had problems with GLPI 0.83.4 and Fusioninventory0.83+2.0)
Congratulations on the release of Agent
My Cisco phones are being picked up as 'type' phone in Unknown devices which is great,

How can I get more information on my IP phones by using fusioninventory?

Any more information on my last comment?

You will get some informations with inventory the switch where the IP phone is connected (so get by CDP/LLDP). But we don't get many informations (model, manufacturer, name, ip, mac and so the type = phone)

Any plans to do more work on CDP/LLDP-MED? I presume you cannot do snmpwalk on the IP-phones?

the agent still halts on this line

Code:
[] Running FusionInventory::Agent::Task::Inventory::Input::Virtualization::VmWareESX

I cannot find anything in the log files

I have purged the agent and installed 2.2.0; it ran successfully but when I install 2.2.6 or 2.2.7 it halts on Virtualization::VmWareESX

GLPI 0.83.31 plugin fusioninventory 0.83+1.0 but I have tried different version of plugin and GLPI with the same result.
It may be that perl or PHP or something else is stopping the agent but I need help in knowing where to start looking.

It is yet halted atfer 30 minutes for example? perhaps it has timeout

Try to run with --debug --debug (or debug=2 in config file)

Hi DD, yes it does timeout when running from the command line but it looks like it runs ok when contacted by the Server.
It ran this morning at 08:00
I will try debug=2 or --debug --debug (what do the commands do?)

Even after installing agent ver 2.2.7 manually it still halts and times out at

I dont think that is best practice! I have to use OCS in place of GLPI. I dont like it, but it works, GLPI/fusioninventory does not work.
