Serial Number on RHEL, Oracle Linux was removed
#1
Hello,

I'm using GLPI 9.1 and fusioninventory 0.90+1.2 on my server. On my client, the installed fusioninventory version was FusionInventory-Agent_v2.3.18 for RHEL 7.6. My question is why serial number and model was automatic remove when it was inventoried. Is there something wrong with the version? When I review the history, there is serial number changed by blank. How can I fix this issue?

Thank you

Hi,
agent 2.3.18 is pretty old and actually 2.5 is the latest official release.
Btw agent generally check the serial number looking at the dmidecode command output.
You can check this command output to see if the agent should still see it or not.
