Cannot contact the agent OSX
#1
Hi dears,

I am new to the world of forums.
I arrive because I install the Fusioninventory for GLPI plugin, In Windows and in Linux (Ubuntu / Centos) it works great, I can force the execution of the agent from GLPI successfully, however the same procedure can not make it work for an agent installed in MAC OSX the message in question is "Cannot contact the agent OSX"
I tested connectivity via telnet URL 62354 and they are successful. The Agent Version is 2.5-2. Can someone help me with this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Attentive to your comments, greetings.

Hello,

did you try your telnet access from the GLPI server ?

If yes, that's okay and confirm the agent is reachable. Then you may have to trust your glpi server on the agent side by adding your GLPI server ip in the "httpd-trust" parameter. Do that in the agent configuration file or in a dedicated file under the conf.d folder if the include directive has been enabled.

Hello,

Yes, I can telnet from the GLPI server.
I have followed your advice and edited the agent.cfg file, and in the http-trusted parameter configure the IP of the GLPI server, stopped the service, and restart it again but it did not succeed.
Anything else I can validate?

Thanks in advance!

Greetings!

Better than just using telnet, from the GLPI server, try curl command on a terminal like this:
Code:
curl -v http://localhost:62354/status ; echo
But of course replace the URL with the one used for the agent.
Eventually double-check the URL associated with the link next to the "Force inventory" button.
