feature request for locking snmp models
#1
I saw on the roadmap for one of the later versions an option to use a more generic snmp model in the snmp scans which probably will help the situation of models not being matched/ identified because they are running a slightly different version of IOS than the one defined in the model. In the meantime, would it be possible to add snmp model as one of the fields on fusion inventory locks? Currently if I manually update the model to one that matches the hardware, the next snmp scan works, and the following netdiscovery resets the model to the default one.

thanks!

You can create a ticket for this on the forge for version 2.5.0 Wink

Hmm... I just saw this feature:

http://forge.fusioninventory.org/issues/557

Description

Change the lock system on the 2.2.x branch. All fields can be lock : use the same locking system than the one in the core of GLPI

----

does that cover the snmp model field as well?
